Milk Teeth Interview

1. First off, who are you and what genre of music do you make?

I’m Billy, I play in MILK TEETH and We play punk rock music.

2. If you had to describe your music with a color, what would it be?

Hmmm gonna go with Yellow. It’s bright, catches your eye quickly. It’s quite a peaceful uplifting colour but then can turn around and sting you much like a bee.

3. What’s the biggest struggle you have when it comes to creating?

We’re our own worst critics, so I guess it’s making sure everyone is happy, I know I hate 90% of what I write until I’ve really sat down with it.

4. If you could play any show in the world, what would it be?

Hmmm probably Green day & Blink 182 for me. That Tour they did in 2002 looked sick!

5. What do you consider your biggest musical success?

Signing to Roadrunner for sure! It’s a label I’ve admired for so long and it’s surreal to be with them.

6. What inspired you to start making music?

I remember when I first got into “Rock” music, I saw a video of Blink 182 playing “Big Day Out” in Australia and It looked like so much fun and I wanted that.

7. If you could hear any person living or dead sing to you, who would it be?

Oh, that’s easy, Michael Bublé. That man has a voice made of velvet.

8. Who, aside from any band or musician, is your biggest influence?

Umm bit cliché but probably my mum, she’s overcome so many difficult things in her life and I can only hope to be that strong when I’m her age.

9. What’s your favorite book?

I am Legend by Richard Matheson

10. What do you like to do other than music?

Haha, recently I’ve really got into cross stitching. I find it really therapeutic and it’s really satisfying when it’s all finished.

11. Who is your favorite musical artist?

It’s really difficult to just pick one. But I’m gonna go with Blink 182.

12. What’s one piece of advice you have for young musicians?

Do not give up. With every song, band, and show you play, you’ll improve and learn new things.

13. Lastly, what’s your lucky number?

I’m not sure I have one. Ummm I like the number 2. Let’s go with that.
